The Genrad GDS-500, followed on by the GDS-510, was a Jaguar dealer scan tool back in the early 2000’s, a hand-held scan tool that could read/clear DTC’s in the PCM, ABS & TCM of 1995-2001 model vehicles.

It is rare and more of a curiosity than a useful tool today, but we still sometimes take it out of the case to read live data in old XK8’s & XJ8’s.

These things cost the dealers $1250 USD back in 1997… that’s like a tank full of fuel today!
