By accessing the Website or using any of the Services, you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please do not use the Website or Services.

1. Use of the Website

  • The Website is provided for informational and service-ordering purposes.
  • You agree not to misuse the Website: no scraping, automated abuse, attempts to breach security, or interference with the hosting infrastructure.
  • Content on the Website (text, images, logos) is owned by OldJaguar or its licensors and may not be copied or redistributed without permission, except for personal, non-commercial reference.

2. Diagnostic, Tuning and Programming Services

2.1 Vehicle modifications

Services such as ECU/TCM flashing, CCF/VID modification, virginization, module recovery, and TCU delete modify vehicle software. You acknowledge that:

  • Such modifications may affect or void manufacturer warranties.
  • It is your responsibility to ensure modifications comply with the laws and regulations applicable in your jurisdiction (emissions, roadworthiness, etc.).
  • Vehicles must be in good technical condition, with a stable power supply (battery support/charger as specified in the service requirements), for procedures to be performed safely.

2.2 Service requirements

For remote (OJ UDS Cloud) sessions you are responsible for providing the required hardware and environment as published on the Website (J2534-compatible interface or ENET cable, Windows 10/11 PC, stable internet connection, vehicle battery support, laptop charger).

2.3 Results

While we make every effort to achieve the best possible result, outcomes of tuning services depend on vehicle condition and configuration. Descriptions and examples on the Website are illustrative and do not constitute a guarantee of specific results.

3. OJ UDS Cloud platform

  • You are responsible for the security of your account credentials and for all activity performed through your account.
  • The Agent software is licensed to you solely for use with the Services. You may not reverse engineer, redistribute, or resell it.
  • You may use the platform only on vehicles you own or are authorized to work on.
  • The built-in chat, ticket system and logs may be reviewed for quality assurance, support, and abuse prevention.

4. Bookings, payment and cancellations

  • Services are ordered through the booking system or by direct agreement.
  • Prices are quoted before work begins; payment is due as agreed at order time.
  • Cancellation/rescheduling terms are those published in the booking system or agreed with you directly.
  • Work already performed (e.g. a completed flash) is non-refundable.

5. Disclaimers

THE WEBSITE AND SERVICES ARE PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE AND NON-INFRINGEMENT, EXCEPT WHERE A WRITTEN SERVICE-SPECIFIC WARRANTY IS PROVIDED.

6. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, OldJaguar shall not be liable for:

  • Indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages;
  • Loss of profits, data, or business opportunities;
  • Damage to vehicles arising from pre-existing faults, non-compliance with the published service requirements (e.g. unstable power supply), or unauthorized post-service modifications by third parties.

Our total liability for any claim relating to the Services shall not exceed the amount you paid for the specific service giving rise to the claim.

Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited under applicable law (e.g. gross negligence or willful misconduct).

7. Intellectual property

All software, tools and know-how used to deliver the Services remain the property of OldJaguar. You receive no license to them except as expressly stated (e.g. modified calibrations delivered to your own vehicle for its operation).

8. Trademarks and non-affiliation

OldJaguar is an independent company. We are not affiliated with, associated with, authorized by, endorsed by, or in any way officially connected with Jaguar Land Rover Limited (JLR) or any of its subsidiaries, brands (Jaguar, Land Rover, Range Rover, Discovery, Defender, etc.), dealers, or partners.

All trademarks, brand names, and vehicle model names mentioned on the Website or in the Services belong to their respective owners and are used for identification purposes only. References to vehicle models and OEM tools (e.g. IDS, SDD, Pathfinder, Topix) are made solely to describe the compatibility and purpose of our independent services.

9. Third-party services

The Website links to third-party services (booking system, technical support portal, payment processors). Their own terms apply to your use of them.

10. Termination

We may suspend or terminate access to the Website or the OJ UDS Cloud platform for breach of these Terms, abuse of the platform, or unlawful use.

11. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws applicable at the location of the Service provider, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Mandatory consumer protection rights in your country of residence remain unaffected.

12. Changes

We may update these Terms from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated effective date. Continued use of the Website or Services after changes constitutes acceptance.
